If'n it were me, I would already have the duck place lined up that i was going to buy with that money! Sign the baseball contract, turn around and sign the land contract! I'd be broke again, but very happy!

Yeah, but the minor leagues suck, ask any former minor leaguer or current one.

Yes the 2nd and third rounders get a six figure signing bonus........ sometimes and isn't guarenteed!! These kids up and leave school to pursue a dream based on what they think MIGHT happen and the odds are definately against most of them ever being called up to the big dance!! Gh22 is soooo right about the minors it sucks....bottom line!! Stuck in the Ms. Senators lineup for years and then it is to hard to go back and finish the education they need then they are stuck begging for a job that doesn't exist and they have blown their 100,000 bucks on clothes cars and a few BIATCHES and now have NOTHING!!! Oh well, maybe some will make it but not all of em will but that is baseball!!!!! To bad it aint like the nfl or nba draft where you know if you are signed you WILL be getting money until they cut you etc and you don't have to fight 10000 minor league players for a chance at a few spots!!!!

I know they have 50 rounds in the MLB draft, but how many people put their name in the draft.

No one puts their name in the draft, nor pulls it out. If you are draft eligible, your name gets put on the list. I don't know the avg number, but it's way up there.

3 more rebels and 1 signee went today, or maybe its' 2 and a signee...
I know of Osteen, Gunther, and Satterwhite, thought there may have been another player, I haven't looked at it, somebody told me 3 players got drafted, so i don't know if they meant 2 and a signee or 3 plus Satterwhite....
