I said that in an earlier post....Swayze doesn't have the tradition and mystique, but the architecture of the facilities newer and nicer...and the blue backstop is sorta kinda maybe a school color thing....like it or not, it's our colors.

BUT, all that said, with response to the rest of it...we have plans in progress to make major changes to the baseball stadium which will make it up there no doubt, like the other facilities...and that's is the point from the beginning...UM has shown more commitment into its facilities than State overall, and it shows...

camlock bro your clueless.. first off have you ever been to dudy noble... guess what dudy noble and your park are based off the same type of design.. a design that was prevelant during the late 80 and early 90's..

now take a look at the new designs of ballparks... the archtetiture (sp) is much different... auburn has the newer design.. they built this same type of design down here in jackson for the atlanta braves double a team...

oh yea.. how sure are you that you had 68,000 at the lsu game... i don't think that is correct..

and since your so big on plans and additions.. i have seen the artwork for the enclosure of the endzone at msu..

Webbmaster, the problem is we can not argue about how good out teams are, so we must make up for it by bickering over baseball fields and stadium seating designs. Maybe subconciously (sp) we are wishing for baseball season to arrive. As far as breaking down the UM-Bama game, I see no need. Bama will roll like a huge crimson blanket over "O" and his Rebels. It may be the only thing that puts smiles on the faces of your Starkville neighbors because we sure have nothing else to smile about. My motto for the rest of the 2005-2006 season will be "ROLL TIDE" , hopefully all the way to the national championship.....( vs. Texas ?)

what subject would that be weedman.. the history of the um-bama series... you think all us numb nutz don't realize that you've dominated the state of miss.. making us your biatch... is that what you want to talk about.... you want you cookie now or later??

truth be know um and bama should have played many, many , many more times... especially back in the 50 and 60's.. however that was when miss was very good and for whatever reason bama and um were steered clear of each other far too many times..

i say this history is somewhat tainted due to all the years that they didn't play..

I have been to Dudy Noble plenty. It is a nice park, very nice, I never said it wasn't...I don't like that stupid build your own bleacher idea in the outfield, but hey, whatever...I said I prefer ours and it's newer, and therefore nicer...lets not talk about Auburn, they have ZERO to do with any of this...stay the course!

I was wrong, I was going off memory on the LSU game number, probably skewed from the rest of the day...it was 62,552 and we got 62,028 for Tennessee last year...i can admit when I was wrong.

Congrats, on the artwork bud!!!! Yall are only bought 3-4 years behind! BUT, Once again, thanks for validifying (sp? or even a word?) my arguement with that...

I still don't agree with all of the baseball thing...but it's mute we could go back and forth!

You are however conveniently leaving out all the other things(IPF for example), that just so happen to be the OBVIOUS head and shoulders difference between UM and State...

In my eyes, the "HUMP" is all you got on us....and I could personally give a chit less about basketball...so that doesn't hurt my feelings at all.

Lets just drop it, most of this is all a matter of opinion, and we obviously don't have the same, I can live with that....

OH, by the way, did your baseball scoreboard collapse and fall on the field or something like that couple years ago??? Oh yeah, top quality park ya got though! JUST KIDDING, had to take that shot!

The old scoreboard did fall down, after it had been pulled up while being replaced with the newer one.

There is not much to break down.

Alabama is better on offense, better on defense, better on special teams.

I think this is all that he wanted to see.
