South Delta. Best season ever dating back to my first season in 1971. Better than mid-late 70s, better than early 1980s, better than mid-late 90s and far better than my worst season ever- last year. One for the ages. 10 doesnt do it justice. Glad/sad its over. Mighty tired, bone tired after hunting last 8 days in a row. But will miss it big time in a few days when my body recovers.

Only thing missing was a bander. To show you how that works, I killed 24 ducks in 6 hunts last year. Only 5 of them were mallards. One of them was banded. I killed 85 mallards this year. None of them were banded.

Serious snowpack in prairies right now has us set for excellent breeding season. Add good rains here in November and December and cold weather in Midwest next winter and we could do it again next year.

Take care of the ducks and they will take care of you.

A solid 10, only because there is no 11 on this scale.

I will second that.

3, the worst duck season ever in 51 years of duck hunting. 3 good hunts and 8 awful hunts.

Global warming this!!! What has that got to do with this thread? JW asked about our duck seasons, can you PLEASE stay on message? BTW, I think there is a thread about global warming somewhere else on MS DUCKS if you care to comment on it.

TAKE CARE OF THE DUCKS AND THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU.
