Ive been there before too man, just remember that" Living well is the best revenge and revenge is a dish best served cold!".........When you get through the five stages of grief you will start enjoying single life again, the freedom and everything that comes with it. You may even have a bounce in your step.....stepping so high, we wont be able to hit you in the booty with a sack of red apples...Until then I know your down and it just dont seem fair, God will carry you through.
Good luck.

Sorry to hear this TJ.
I don't know if you remember me but I came out to your house about 10 years ago with "Uncle Walt" and we looked at your layout boats.
I was going through the same crap at that time (without kids).
You will need to lean on your friends and most of all, remember that our God will not lead us to something that he won't help us make it through.
There is nothing "fair" in a divorce. I fought the divorce for over 2 years because "I didn't do anything" an argued that she shouldn't get crap because I caught her red handed TWICE!! The judge told me that it gave me grounds for the divorce, now split things down the middle.
I finally gave in and decided that I had to get on with my life.
When I was least expecting it, I stumbled on the best thing that every happened to me and now I have a little man that's almost 4, and a true "home" to come home to.
Life goes on and the better you try to make it, the better it will be.
One day you will find a way to forgive her, and then you will know that you are the better person for it.
If you need another friend thats been there done that, give me and Ole Uncle Walt a call (cold beer will be involved).

Bum - I'll just lay it out there and acknowledge the fact that this sucks. I am sorry for you man and I hope that you spring back quick. Being betrayed is a hard fact to get past...but you will and probably alot faster than you can imagine. Take the high road and try not to harbor negative thoughts. You gotta think about the future and the fastest way to get there is to put this behind you as soon as you can. I don't know how to tell you to do it but I am sure that you will figure it out. Whenever you start feeling low, do something nice for someone. You are a stand up guy and you will prevail.

Dang that sucks. Man it just seems that spending time doing what you love in hunting etc just gives the other spouse an excuse to stray. I see it every hunting season. Poor guys gone to camp in the middle of nowhere just enjoying the outdoors and the spouse thinking they abandon them every weekend so they find comfort with someone else that doesn't hunt......hopefully not one of your friends cause that really sucks!!!!! When you find that special someone that understands hunting and your passion for it they will accept it and love you for you and realize that it won't change. I catch it on occasion and try and balance time at home and time hunting etc to avoid as much conflict as possible. Hope all ends well as it can for you. At least I didn't have any kids involved in my divorce and beleive me there aint nothing pretty about it. You will move on but again I was fortunate to not have any kids involved and I know it will hurt to see them spending time with her and the other man but they will remember who there father is and will one day understand you were not at fault for breaking up your family. Good luck to you.... prayers sent. At least you found out cause there are many out there that leave every weekend that have no clue that there wives are straying.
