If there was any "talent" in the bunch, why do they need billions of OUR tax dollars to maybe keep AIG alive?
I can't totally demonize AIG for paying the bonuses - if the company was handed the money and there wasn't a prohibition on that action, I can understand (though not agree with) its justification. As between AIG and its executives, there may well be some contractual liability.
But it is utterly reprehensible that our "leaders" let the money go, apparently without oversight. They are the ones at fault in this scandal.

I heard on the radio this morning that congress is meeting today to try and setup some kind of 90% on the bonuses.

and you know what is scary about this kid of socialist crap? What says that next year they dont set up a "If you use ducksouth.com tax" or "if you eat McDonalds" 90% tax. Nothing, these liberal leaders are taking over our country and before long they will run it into the ground!
