wonder how many man hours went into busting this guy??? I mean really our government doesn't want us to hold suspected terrorists too long, but they'll lock up a doctor in the Federal Pokey for payin' for some out of state nookie....... I am not by any means condoning his behavior, but doesn't the FBI have something better to do.......

Imagine what weiner has done but never got caught doing... I've heard from reliable sources some weird/crazy stuff he was into.

GG, I feel very strongly that this was just the reason to seize his computers, documents, etc. I feel very certain there is more to it. There have been problems with tax evasion (appeared in C'dale paper), and I have heard the mention of medicare fraud, etc, BUT it is all specualtion at this point, AND for now he has been convicted of nothing. Remember he is an ELECTED county supervisor

I agree. I had been hearing about the Medicare fraud allegation long before this came up. The guy is a real creep. I can assure you that there is more that is going to come out of this.

If not, then I agree with you. While it is illegal, immoral, etc, it sure would seem to be a waste of money. There are alot worse things happening around here if they want to do some investigating

All that being said, I don't like him, and I don't think he is a very good Dr., BUT he is the only cardiologist in this town and some people have no other option. It really hurts this community's access to some degree of healthcare that is needed.
