Back in the 70's dad got the old Dodge van so stuck while hunting Gambel's quail in Utah that the farmers 4x4 truck got stuck. Then, the farmers big tractor got stuck. Took the farmers CAT bulldozer to get it out...all dad had was a $20 bill to offer. Best $20 he EVER spent. Farmer guy was good natured about the whole thing...Ida shot us both on sight. Worst stuck I've ever seen was a 460 Timberjack skidder bout 10 years ago. My old man got the cutter stuck and then the skidder got stuck trying to get him out. 67" tires were completely outta sight beneath the mud. took a day and a half to get the 460 out using the cutter (after getting it out with another skidder), a 450 Timberjack and a D5.
