Dr. Brown with a variety of different nipple sizes. The #1 key to making your life easier is the bottle not letting them get a bunch of air. The doc will give you some stuff to put in the bottle if stopped up are rabbitt turds works pretty well.

1/4 teaspoon of phillips milk of mag. in the morning bottle. If they havent pooped by night time bottle, another 1/4 tsp. This worked wonders for my little girl according to my wife. This can be done daily. If they have loose stools, back off a little.

What formula are you using? We had to switch to the purple Isomil. It seemed to work much better....but each one is different and one formula might be good for this one where a different one works better for another.BAY KINGFISHER wrote:Thanks for the response guys, now can youll help me find a new job making 6 figures. Anyway we had a little better night, adjusted the nipples and did a little better. our biggest problem is dealing with the constipation x2. So, this morning wife called our ped. and they are going in to see her after lunch to check weights etc...maybe we can get them on a formula that is better on there stomachs. Thanks again for all the advice and keep it coming!!!. Sometimes this site gets bogged down in a lot of BS but for the most part when a member really needs something evryone comes through and the true nature of like-minded people shine through. It's real refreshing to be re-assured that there is some compassion left in humanity. Thanks again guys!!
Prayers to you as well BC !!!

Just a little info........nothing turns into bacteria. Everyone has bacteria in their mouths. Juices are acidic and have simple sugars. Acids dissolve enamel on teeth. Bacteria in your mouth eat the simple sugars and release more acid as the byproduct. Therefore juice is a double whammy. The only thing is......saliva rebuffers the mouth, meaning it will clear the acids out and make your mouth a more neutral environment, but this doesn't happen in kids that are constantly sipping on juices, milk, etc. They don't give the saliva time to do it's job. SO, to make a long story short a child can drink juice as long as you aren't letting them take a long time to drink it. That's my free advice for the day.MudHog wrote:Bonecollecter1111 wrote:1/2 teasoopn of prun juice in the bottle got my first one to Shat'n like a snowy egret posing for Wingman's camera
That fits more to some recent events.
Something my daughters doc said about the juices, was to not give them juice as the acid breaks down in the jums and turns into bacteria. This can inturn lead to cavities. Learned this for my daughters 6 month doc check up.
