Im not making a jab, but when you advertise yourself as being a liberal arts college and open minded, and getting rid of the oppressed southern uniquness that makes Ole Miss what it is/was, and calling yourself "The Harvard of the South", you are going to attract people that aren't as conservative as us and do not have the same ideals as you and I and that want to loosen the southern "feel" of the university. It wasn't intended as an insult, but Ole Miss has been kind of asking for it, whether intentionally or unintentionally.

Why do these people feel the need to turn this into a MSU/ Mississippi thing? Totally irrelevant in this thread.

Actually there are quite a few more State grads in medical school in Jackson than there are that did their undergrad at Ole Miss, but y'all carry on.

And the next time he eats he can remember the farmer that went to MSU. Or the engineer that designed the bridge he just drove over or the architect that designed his home or the vet that saved his dog's life.

Or that nuclear physist that went back to Iran to help build a nuclear power plant.

Or that african that thought he was going to the NBA so he majored in african studies and now after 4 years of college and 2 weeks in NBA training camp he's back flipping burgers at McDonald's.
