Remington SPR453...Remingtons knock off of a Beikiel, has gotten descent reviews, although a little on the ugly side imo. An adjustable gas operated semi auto. I use a Nova ive been abusing for 6-7 seasons with great success...never jams or mis fires, easy to take apart AND put togather with NO tools...kicks hard and kills em dead. Have you considered a double gun? Never met a Browning I didnt like. Shoulder a few BEFORE ya buy

I must have gotten lucky with mine. I bought it a few years ago because my old Winchester wouldn't eject on a VERY cold morning and wasn't chambered for 3" shells. (Those were my excuses for buying a new gun.)
Anyway, I was NOT going to spend a ton of money of a gun that I was going to risk dropping into the mud/river/bogs/and what all other crap that I hunted in at the time. So I got a Wal-Mart "Turkey Special" at the end of the season a few years ago. It was a Mossberg 500A with a composite stock and a ported barrel. The only thing I have ever had go wrong with it was an ejector that needed replacing, but that was a simple fix.
Oh yeah. And with the ported barrel you probably will not stand too close to others in the blind without them having hearing protection. Just ask GREENHEAD.
