You guys need to go hunt the Eastern Shore of Virginia/Maryland..bands are dime a dozen out there... 
You'll run across numerous different duck clubs but the Avise/Write/Call bands are easier to come by...Obviously if your about 15 flying minutes from Laurel...

In 30 years of duck hunting. 23 bands. 1 widgeon, 1 snow goose, 1 dove and 20 mallards, one of which had a $10 reward band.

Softcall, no, it was T. Wilkens & he works at Yazoo NWF. I used to hunt a spot just outside the refuge, so I guess that probably has something to do with killing his bands.
