Rick told me that it get's started around 8:00 am on both Sat. and Sunday, and will run until probably 3 or 4 pm both days.

Mahanna is North of Vicksburg right of of Hwy 61 after you cross the Yazoo River. Look for the Mahanna signs on the left, if you are going North.

You don't have to be in camo from head to toe. Usually when I am a spectator I'll where blue jeans and a dark colored shirt or jacket. Just don't where any light colors......and this weekend you'll have a jacket on I will be willing to bet

Actually, the Mahanna SIGN to turn Off 61 onto Floweree Rd will be on the right side of the Rd heading North. Mahanna is a good ways down Floweree Rd off 61. It should be your 1st LEFT I believe, after you cross Whittington Canal, which is after the river.

If you are coming from the North, you will turn RIGHT on Floweree Rd on the other end, next to a trailer with a litte pond out beside it. He usually has a decoy or two in the pond. Back behind the trailer is an old Farm Headquarter, it is in a slight curve to the left.

huh.....?? You really got me confused now. I thought Mahanna was on the West side of hwy 61???? Which if you are going North, you would take a left...........

Directions: Approximately 18 north of Vicksburg on Hwy 61. Turn left (west) at WMA sign on Floweree Road. Go approx. 3 miles to WMA sign turn left (west) on Anderson-Tully Road. WMA headquarters approx. 2 miles ahead.

It is a left hand turn. but the sign for it is on the right, with an arrow pointing left.

Lets make it simple.
go north on 61, cross the Yazoo river bridge, follow the signs to Mahanna.

How do you get there again?

Just pay attention to the road signs once you cross the Yazoo river on 61, NOT hard to find, see ya there!!!

I'm startin to get a little nervous also!

What time should we be there to get our dogs signed in. This is my first hunt test. Also, I have a buddy wanting to come with me and run his dog in started, but he has not signed up. Any chance that he will be turned away because started is full?

I would suggest you get there at or around 7 am. tell him to come on, as far as I know we should still have room. Msbigdawg could prob. answer that better, but I don't see it being a problem.

Regarding the pupy stakes, what constitutes a puppy? Is their an age cap?

We got plenty of room in started, some room in seasoned and plenty in finished.Need to be there at 7:00 for checkin.Test will start at 8:00.Look forward to seeing everyone.
