as long as it has choke tubes it doesn't matter about barrel length.

26"

Two beads help me keep my cheek on the stock instead of looking over the barrel to see if I hit the bird or not.

I only have one hi-vis site currently.

I shoot a 28 on one gun and a 30 on the other. It is all about the person. Everyone is different.

Dont think barrel length matters, u can change your pattern up by using different chokes. So, its really what your son feels comfortable swinging.

Thanks - I couldn't get it out of my mind when I first saw it. I was convinced I was just destined to be its next caretaker.

It may be a little tight for skeet and some sporting clays programs, but it sure swings smooth.

Know what you want, be patient, and work towards putting yourself in a position to take advantage of the opportunity when it presents itself. This can be applied to many thing in life. You just never know what will come along. I've been very fortunate.

I shoot 32 and 34 inch barrells on my over and unders. On the other hand you can put my 32 inch over and under side by side with my 28 inch Benelli and the total gun length is the same. Automatics have a longer receiver for 3 1/2 inch shells. So my feeling are it depends on overall length and not necessarily the lenth of the barrells. Comparing barrell lengths of O/U s to automatics is like comparing apples to oranges.

Just curious - what manufacturer makes a O/U with 34" tubes? You got a K-gun?
