They'll be back. Cant talk about how much there lease in the delta cost if they dont get back in. Saying oosrs dont raise the rent is like saying I feel the same when I get my limit as I do when I just watch the sun rise. I have watched this for too long and you'll see more of the 5k to 10k leases no renewed than the 20k and 40k. Most of those big leases just like to watch the sun rise they aren't too worried about the kill or the economy.

I like that- ol Gator has a way with words. I hope to beat ya'll to that hole if that ever happens so i can fold him first but i will retrieve him my self since i don't have a dog! :D

YOu are missing out on more than 1/2 the enjoyment. Get a dog, it will totally change your view on hunting.

This issue isn't isolated to duck leases in Mississippi...talk to the guys in the midwest that can't afford to hunt...

We can sit and bitch about it all we want, but bottomline is in that Money Talks, and Bu!!$hit walks...unfortunately the real world works like that boys...the economic theories you learned in 10th grade apply to hunting as well... Just pray all this school has put me on the money talks side of things

I think what this thread has taught us is 2 basic things:

1) Some folks are in a state of total denial regaring the effect of OOS hunters on lease prices; and
2) The foundational economic unit of exchange in the Mississippi delta region is now "coochie."
