The biggest thing to remember in all of this is that everything you read on message boards is true. Therefore, Cam Newton & his dad are the devil and are absolutely guilty in all of this. Auburn has never cleanly recruited a single player. They pay everybody.

Just watched ESPN "sports reporters" show.
They seemed to think that Cam was Clean...
However , it seems that MSU may have been involved in trying to pay to get him.
But Auburn seems to be in the clear.

I just think its hard to believe that a southern black preacher with apparent needs for his church and a good way to hide money would turn down that kind of cash whether his son knew about it or not. Either way, if Cam didn't know anything about it, if someone with influence was paid to sway his decision, then it still makes him ineligible. For once, I hope my intuition is wrong. We'll see.

I think if you guys would do a little research you would know that the money for the church came from C. Newton Jr. who plays for the Jax Jaguars.

They did not start the renovations until he started because Jr. donated the money. With one son starting in the pros and another on the way. Why would the family want MSUs money? I doubt they did. Kenny on the other hand, he likely did.

It seems to me that this is all a bunch of sour grapes from State who thought they had him signed and Myers who is getting his booty handed to him for running off a talented QB.

Everyone can sit on here and say, I know Bond, who knows Kenny, who know whoever. Kenny is now saying I have not talked to him. Bond is saying well, I really did not talk to him, I talked to this guy who said a friend told him.

I don't care either way...but Jacksonville doesn't have him listed on their website as active, injured, or even practice squad and they keep those listing daily updated....NFL.com list him as a Jacksonville Jaguar player but he has no stats for 2009 but he was active for 2 games end of the season, he was waived during fall camp and resigned to practice squad in 2009. He isn't listed anywhere in 2010? He was undrafted and signed as a free agent, cut and re-signed as practice squad guy... Not sure you argument about him being starting NFL player has alot of weight...and them using him as the donor smells fishy! Maybe he won some lotto in Florida while trying to be an NFL player in Jacksonville!

It happens, and when you have a talented college athelete, everyone is going to try to get some dirt on your name...most of the time in college, it's the parents who are at fault and we should have some form of recourse for the parents....its not always the student atheletes fault....and I am not saying that's what happened in this case. I am a State fan...I fully believe that we got outbid in renting the mule....

At least Auburn's AD is confident of the situation

As far as Cam goes....
No one is perfect.... We all make mistakes...
Since he is on a Top ranked team and a frontrunner for the Heisman,
he is being held to a higher standard than us regular folks. It's kinda like, when your Preacher gets a speeding ticket, everybody starts talking.

Fact 2: John Bond works for Utah Construction. Utah Construction is one of States largest donors. Is Bond the Bully bag man? i would send Bond to China immediately looking for a bug resistant rice seed for 2 years if I was Humpback!

Does anybody believe State would turn in Auburn if there was any any any any chance of the NCAA finding something on the bulldogs during their investigation of the whole fiasco???
