We strongly encourage our employees to do direct deposit. We have about 95% doing it and all of the drs have it set that way. Employees love it mainly because they don't have to rush to the bank to cash their check or waste their lunch hour making a deposit. They have the cash in their account usually by Thursday night. It saves me (my practice) money because I'm not buying paper checks. And it saves me time not having to sign 2 dozen checks and stuff envelopes every 2 weeks.
