I'm wondering why they aren't posting on this thread. I'm sure a reality check this big takes time to process.

I don't think "recommending" a draw because of a few tards is the best way to go about this. In a way it would mean all of our hard earned work was bested out by these complete failures of society. To quit after one year and a few idiots later doesn't show anything; other than the fact that idiots will always be around. What's the one thing we all complain about these days? How a few ignorant pieces of crap can mess it up for all of us. Why let them? Why should we let these pricks cause even less access for the modern outdoorsman? Screw them, less access and the hand of the government CERTAINLY can't fix stupid. Like I have said recently, duck hunting has reached maximum density. The thinning out of hunters is coming, soon. If Malmaison goes down it's the last nail in the coffin for freelance waterfowl hunting in the state.

I think we as hunters and stewards should take care of these matters ourselves, not the government. Sure a heavy game warden presence would help, and sure folks would complain about sorry game wardens. I'm sure some idiot's opinion of game wardens has made Wingman say " aw maybe I shouldn't go in there, they may be negative towards me." Hell yeah they're gonna have a negative attitude about it. However the other 95% of us are wishing the warden could take some knee caps out with a nightstick while he's at it.

The other night I watched a Mississippi Outdoors broadcast about waterfowl hunting, and the majority of it was very good. The one SCARY thing I noticed was how much they were praising Missouri and their waterfowl draws. If you want it, the commission will GLADLY give it.

Yall are exactly right!!!

How do you do that to a bunch of snotnosedpunkknowitallchitheads? Without doing something that will get you put in jail? That is the question.

Used to you could just whip hell out of somebody and go about your business. Now you will get yo but locked up for givin the bloody nose and busted lip that Wingy talked about. I am truely glad I was not there for these antics. I do not do good at controlling my temper. I am sure I would now bw paying the price!

The gamewardens were there as much as I have ever seen them. The problem is that they only checked at the landing. To fix the problem they would've had to have been in the scatters checking. I'm not bashing the wardens because it was a nightmare getting back there most of the of the season, but a law enforcement presence during the hunt would have made a big difference. I know they are stretched thin but this was a big problem. Anyone that hunted there knows what I'm talking about. If it doesn't go to draw next year maybe they can find a way to get out there...I know our group will gladly give them a ride in.
