To me it would be the same as killing a python while walking through the woods squirrel hunting. You know what it is and that its not supposed to be there, so do something about it. The only mistake these guys made was telling the world about it.

On another note, this is how non-native species get introduced to places they don't have any business being in the first place. Some genius thinks its a good idea to have some exotic pets and the next thing you know you have an epidemic on your hands. How do we know they aren't carring some form of a disease that will wipe out all whitetails in the next ten years... we don't. Want a perfect exampel of this?? Fire ants..., not native, no natural predators or diseases here, so bye bye quail sorry we screwed up and let a non-native invasive species out on the loose, even if it was an accident. I don't even know why they issue permits to people who want these things anyway. They should just say "No!" and then say "Here's your sign...".

I tell you one thing... If I'm sitting in the stand in the morning and see a Leopard walking through the woods.... I might just smoke his booty and have a rug made. I can see the headlines now! Chickasaw Co. man kills largest bobcat ever!!

Rant over.

If you don't believe the Red deer could be considered livestock, roll up to a ranch with Red deer and get out and shoot a few, or several. Stick around and see how the owner, law enforcement, and the Court view them as livestock raised for profit. Your opinion may differ. You pays yo money and you takes yo chances;)

What if I drove up to your house and shot your cat, that happened to be in the front yard? Now, would that be considered killing your livestock or would it be me, pumping a couple of rounds into your pu$$y!
