Really wanting a Browning O/U field 525. Just don't have that kinda cash floating around @ approx. 1,900.00. Defenitely my next gun. The ole M1 super 90 will have to do the messy jobs for now and a fine job it does!

The SS is truly a great product, but unnecessary if you clean your bolt return spring twice per year.

I don't prefer the Browning Gold because of the weight. It shoots decent, but it's a load to heave around. The Beretta Pintail is a solid gun.

Beretta A391 Xtrema2 3.5

all i need really....shot 6 limits of doves with it this year....(some with low brass 7/8 oz shot just to see if it would handle it)....went and shot about 50 quail with it in alabama....and have a shot some ducks with it this year with 3.5"s--the gun is so balanced and light for a 12 ga. 3.5"....I am more than impressed with it. and with some advice from posts on this message board, it is now equipped with a Brileys's extended, ported Light modified (LMOD) choke, and has a slogansoutdoors rubber sling on it....its bada$$ if you ask me....

SBE II, especially if you shoot lefty like me. It's easy to shoulder and swing, and has low recoil. Buddy of mine has Extrema, and it jams a lot, but I understand the Extrema II is more reliable than the Extrema.

I know this wasn't a choice in the original question. But I have had extremely good service with my Stoeger M-2000 automatic. Just happens to fit me perfectly.

Action is almost identical to SBE. Actually the company is owned by Benelli. Best of all its less than $400.
