Gulfcoast,
I hear what you are saying, but i think he was just trying to figure out what he was going to buy and you have to be able to get some help from the sales men when it comes down to his decision. He had 2 guns in mind, liked both, but wasnt sure which one was best fit for him. Got to try a gun out, like your trying on clothes. If it dont fit, then its not going to be comfortable.

To be honest, I always forget about those two stores. How have things been going for you? Are you still in Jackson? If you do any training, give me a shout as I need TONS of help. Dogs have done nothing for over a year and a half and have forgotten EVERYTHING!

I love Bass Pro I could stay in there for hours, they have an awesome fishing and fly fishing section. But the service is HORRIBLE. I asked to blow a duck call I was wanting to buy, 30 minutes later and 4 employees being asked to help out, the first guy finally came. MAN I made that guy pay. Blew the hell outta that duck call right in his ear, then told him I didn't like the sound and to put it up. :D

Thought this thread was a little rough at first but i see that it has merit. Just left Mean Mallard after standing in the store for about 15 minutes. No other customers in the store and 4 people behind the counter up front "hanging out" three in the back "hanging out". Not ONE employee even asked how i was doing or if i needed help. so, i think this thread has merit. guess, i'll go to Wal-mart.

SPORTSMAN WAREHOUSE, can not say more, they are glad you came in the store. I had not walked 15 feet inside the first door and I was being asked how I was doing and could they help me with anything. Every department I went to was the same, someone asking how they could help. They have a ton of rifles, pistols, and shotguns. I just wish it was closer. I will visit them on the next trip to visit the grandson. Also in Grenada the Gold N Gun south of town on Hwy 51 has some good deals. Tim is the owner and will really treat you right.

I also visited the Sportsmans warehouse a few weeks ago. That place is awesome. It is huge with a good selection. Is appears to be a franchise.
Anyone know its history ??
