I shoot 32" barrels on one of my semi's for clays, and would go longer if I could! :wink:

I think Beretta has 34" tube sets now, but I could be imagining it or thinking about a unsingle. Mine are all 32's for the 682 receiver. The Optima 32's are actually pretty lively. Factory tubes are ugly as hell.

i shoot a 28 on my 835 and a 26 on my 870 .....they work for me....i bought the waterfowl addition on the 835 and thats what it had on it.....28in...... i wouldnt go any longer but its what u feel confident with that u should get

Thanks, Bankermane - didn't realize Perrazzi offered a 34 outside of a single or unsingle barrel. I have 32's on the MX3 combo, but I use the 34 single for singles and handicap as opposed to the top barrel on the O/U bbls. Not having a selector is a problem. And the open bbl on the O/U is on top for first shot on doubles.

I hope to upgrade to a MX-8 or Mirage, one day - but I don't really shoot that much trap anymore. When I do, I use the gun in the photos.

yea i have both 26in and 28in.... cant tell a difference but i dont think i would go shorter than the 26

I personally like a 28 inch barrel I just shoot better with a 28. I really don't like a barrel shorter than 26 and will not buy one shorter than 26. Just my 2 pennies. :wink:
