Guys, I know this may sound a little weird, but I'm covered in goose bumps and choking back tears. Through all of this ordeal that Griff and my whole family has had to endure, we have been loved and supported by so many. It is tough to watch your baby boy (or any child for that matter) go through so much and be worried that he could be taken from you at any moment. It's a strange flood of so many emotions. Anxiety, Depression, guilt, happiness, love, joy, anger, relief... All of these occur often and all throughout the process. Through the journey God has led us to so many people and situations that has made the journey barable.
I have so many people to thank. And not just thank but somehow return the favor. The feeling is overwhelming, and I don't really know where to start. For now all I can tell you guys is that I'm honestly and truthfully thankful and humbled from the very bottom of my heart.
Chad,
What makes your statement even more interesting is that I took Griff to a store yesterday and let him handle some shotguns. Out of all the shotguns he loved the Rossi that you are talking about the most. I was trying to talk him out of it and tried to get him interested in a youth 870. But he kept saying he really liked that gun. We didn't buy a gun yesterday, and then you worked this out. Funny how things fall into place. Thanks for everything!
Guys,
Again. I don't think I have any way to repay yall. If there is anything I can do for you guys, please let me know.

Gunner, You need a box of 22 bullets? I know they are hard to find, but I will be glad to send you a box of 225 for the boy to shoot. Let me know.

I think I can speak for all of us by saying you can repay everyone by just getting him out hunting and enjoying that time with him and post a few pics of him with his gear and hopefully some good kills.

It was good talking with you today.. Can't wait to meet you all face to face.. But I really had very little to do with this. I am just a the middle man..
"It is tough to watch your baby boy (or any child for that matter) go through so much and be worried that he could be taken from you at any moment"
I have been in your shoes, not knowing what will happen to your son, with Owen in 2008, We spent 9 months worrying about him and all the problems he had, and then when he was born hearing from the Drs that he would not make it. Just 5 days after he was born, we took turns holding him in our arms as he took his last breath..
You take Griff hunting, and you get him a big old gobbler, the only request I have is that when you come get his gun, you bring Griff with you, I would love to meet him, plus Hayden my 7 yo and him would have a blast.....

Cwink,
I will definitely bring Griff along. I'm very sorry with what you and you wife had to endure. We know people that have lost their children. Even as close as we've come to losing Griff I still just can't imagine. I just can't let my mind go there.
