How is allowing gay marriage reckless? There are people in this country that are Christian, Muslin, Hindu, Buddhist, etc. etc. etc. So why should they be pulled into having to follow a Christian Government? In this day and time there are all types of people in this here world we live in, and that make up this great country of ours. You just cussed.. willingly and probably multiple times today, and will probably do it multiple more times today. If all sins are equal in the eyes of God, you're no better than a homosexual. Drank beer lately? Looked at a woman, and though? Damn, the things I would do with that? Its all the same.

"I repent for my sins and don't live in it" but I bet you cuss on sundays after church too when you rack your knuckles, or spill a drink (or beer).

This is why the South is so far behind in every aspect of decent living in this country. We don't attract jobs, we're fat, stupid, stuck in our ways. Look at the bright spots in the South and they have more of a young generation that is progressive. They're open minded, now I'm not saying that my generation is perfect, because we're not. But atleast we don't prejudge and hate someone just because they are different.

Gay marriage in no way affects anyone on this board. It doesn't make your quality of life suffer because gay people are now allowed to marry the person they love. It doesn't make the world end. Its been over a week now, I don't see any fire coming from the skies. It doesn't make gas go up in price, or milk, or bread. This is a non-issue that over zealous people are clinging too.

The world is moving forward in a positive direction, jump on board or be left thumping your Bible muttering fire and brimstone and being pissed at the world, the choice is yours.

Your and my idea of a "bright spot" must be different.. where (what cities) exactly are you referring to as a "bright Spot" in the South? Gay marriage issue aside, the bright spots I feel you are referring to are some of the most crime ridden and violent "spots" this country has.. Let me Guess a few..Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Memphis, etc... No thank you for me.

For context, I probably work more in a week than most members of this board work in 2. I've been working since I was 10, so 16 years now consistently pulling between 75-90 hours a week of hard outdoor labor. Most I've ever worked was 109 hours in a week.

Gay Marriage - Sure, obviously I'm fine with it. If people want to marry the person that makes them happy, I'm all for it. The world is dreary and scary enough. It doesn't affect my everyday life if two guys get married. I'm still gonna go after the chicks though.

Firearm Possession - I believe you should have the right to own firearms if you want them. I'm for concealed carry as well. I have about 10 guns sitting in my closet now.

Marijuana - Naturally occurring plant. The most violent thing that is going to happen while high is destroying a bag of Cheetos or a pizza. If you want to call weed a gateway drug, then alcohol might as well be one too. Legalize it. Tax it. Build up our school system. Let farmers grow Hemp. Clear out the prison with simple stupid weed charges. Profit.

Abortion - Eeeeehhhhhhhhh, both sides have some points. I think its a woman's body what she wants to do with it is her choice. But I'm constantly on the fence about this issue.

Welfare / Food Stamps - I think there should be drug testing to be on it. I think it should end after 2-3 months. Its a hand-up not a hand-out. White, black, asian, mexican everyone abuses it and I think its a crock of $#!+ my taxes go to it.

Politicians - I don't believe anyone. Republican, Democrat, Independent... Everyone its a lying piece of crap. Everyone is there to pad THEIR pockets. Everyone says the SAME thing and delivers the same results as the previous 100 people before them. Politicians are right next to the Morgan & Morgan lawyers and they can go eat a big one. If you think Republicans aren't just as corrupt and money driven as Democrats you've lost you're mind. Not a single one can be trusted IMO.

The Flag (Confederate in State Flags) - I think its fine. It doesn't remind Dontrell of his ancestors 150 years ago.

My Generation - I think they are $#!+. Lazy, ungrateful, disrespectful little douches. But most of ya'lls generation let them get that way as parents. Mine whipped my booty when I needed it, in public or not. I think kids these days are soft, and lazy.

Yes I do. But because I think someone should marry who they want, that means I'm going to hell? There are muslims, hindu, buddhist, etc in the world, does that mean you're going to hell because they exist?
