I just don't like Nat Gear...I was hoping for Shadowgrass...

Ok, got mine in...they are Mossy Oak Shadow Grass, size 8 1200 gr. Took them to the boat launch this evening and went in @ waist deep and there were no leaks that I could notice. I probably waded around for about a minute or two. I don't have 3 hours or so to go stand in water to see if they "seep"...guess I'll find that out in duck season. They definately aren't new, but in really good shape. Found an unopened handwarmer in the front pocket.

Where did you find a boat ramp with enough water to wade? Arkabutla was EMPTY last time I was in town.

I ordered two pair, one for me in size 9 the other a size 12 for my sixteen year old son.The 9s have been used, found an unopened handwarmer in one of the pockets, but no obvious patches. They are Shadowgrass.
I'm gonna go jump in the swimming pool when I get home from work today.
The ones I ordered for my boy are Max4HD but they are not Duramags. Can't tell what they are from the website.Obviously 5mm and fleece lined, look to be an expensive pair of waders. These were 100% new.Only problem is they are a 12 XL.I'm 5'10" and the back of the waders come to my chin.If they are too big for my son I've got several buddies who these will fit and I'll just make one of them a deal.

The handwarmer packet comes with the new duramags tucked inside the "handwarmer pocket" That explains the unopened packages.

Got mine in this past friday. Size 10 in shadowgrass. Took them to the pond that afternoon and didn't have any leaks. They are patched just below the belt strap and are aqua sealed all along the crotch seem. Hopefully they'll hold up.

Is it getting that bad around here. You pay $50 a month for high speed internet connection but buy waders with mud on them, handwarmers in the pockets and already patched up?
Next thing I know, y'all will be running burnt KFC chicken grease in 1983 Volvo diesels.

I got what I paid for...my waders leaked like the titanic...

The seams were coming undone in the crotch. .Should I even try to patch them up? My brother's pair were fine...

depends, i have never really had a patch stick if it was as bad as you say it is. i would be an awful same to get all that stuff patch it and then have a wet unit for opening day. also mind you it will not get cold enough till the last day of the season to matter any way.

Parcel Post Insured rate is $16.50/box.
I paid $49.50 this morning for 3 pairs.

My shipping from Sierra was free, so they'll be out of pocket this amount plus the money for the waders.
