St. you know him, He and Jody Petterson used to hunt just across the marsh, due north from my spot. The ol' horseshoe blind. He hunted with me several times too. I think we met up with yall in the marsh one time...

I was in gulfport, the pass, and long beach ..... the day after the katrina came rolling in for about a week doing search and rescue and living out of our fire trucks.

Spent a week in pearle river county about a week later covering for the fire dept there with. We at least had a building to stay in that trip.

Spent a week doing relief operations and covering the fire department in fountain blue just outside of ocean springs about a week after that.

funny thing though everyone down there were waving and holding up signs thanking us and trying to give us what little food and water they had while in new orleans the teams were getting shot at and treated like shat. It realy impressed me the way our state handled the crisis.

We had a task force in fountain blu for a month. We stayed at the school for a couple of weeks and then they moved us into a community center down the road. I spent about a week there. The people were great they opened their homes for us ..... An older gentlemen had our entire task for over for gumbo for lunch.

If the duck hunting gets right up here I would love for you to come up to the north end of the state one weekend and spank some mallards

I must ask did they ever find out where the bus that was washed up on the beach came from?
