To be honest, i was tired of answering stupid questions, hungry for something other than a corn dog, and sore from standing on concrete all day. I did enjoy putting faces with names and swapping stories. However, I hold the record for spending the most at the show!
Nice meeting everyone.

Jimmy G needed the fat girl booths not Ol' Hootie. Besides Jimmy G's a sis. And he likes his women BIG.

No really fellas, we had a blast and we appreciate the invite to The Bulldog. That was a kickass place and it was nice to meet yall. Holler when yall come back to Northeast Arkansas and we'll get together and have us a good time. I enjoyed it.

not really shocked to hear this, I've been getting a lot of text messages from gator lately informing me of his firsthand knowledge of RR2's secret sexual orientation and now I read that both "were too tired" to make it Sat nite

Gordon - you gotta post up the text you sent on the meaning of Gator's Swahili name.

Thanks to everyone that came by and to everyone that helped out. Thanks also for compliments regarding the booth, we spent alot of time developing an exhibit that looked great, breaks down and takes up easily. The number of wives and women alone that pointed or commented on it let us know we'd hit our aesthetic target. My friend and fellow L'Anguille member Milhouse is a talented carpenter and it couldn't have been done without him. A few kinks to work out yet, probably go double-wide next year, we'll see.
It was a great show, much better than expected. Sold the
Mexico Duck Hunt really good, filled the 2010 Valentine day weekend hunt - but where else can you go shoot pintail, cinnamon and blue-winged teal as pretty as they get in February and return from vacation with your trophies AND a tanned, happy wife to boot? Interest and commitments on
Uruguay duck and dove hunts (and
Argentina duck hunts and the ever-popular
Argentina dove hunt), as well as
Canada duck hunts. Throughout Saturday, if someone had a question about it, we could just point to a recently-returned client visiting the booth and say - ask them they just got back!
The sure-fire
Oklahoma turkey hunt, in fact all turkey hunts, were popular. Don't think the 4 msduckers that already made deposits for April 2010 will have any problem finding a few folks to join them for a rio turkey hunt if they decide to let anyone else come along.
And sorry about missing the Bulldog, but after all day talking and shaking hands, it was lights OUT after one of Ducaholic's charter toddies and all-you-can-eat seafood buffet. Maybe next time!

Because ESJay requested it:
gator's name is a Swahili name meaning "man of one thousand excuses"...also known as the honorary captain of team dependable.
