Guys I got this letter in the mail today and I am floored. What would you have done?

Hey I got this letter and thought you would get a laugh. I had hunted this hole 3 days in a row (in the am) and roasted them.


Dear Sir:

On January 13th I was going to hunt on over our decoys, which we had hunted over the day before and left out for the next morning's hunt, when we discovered your party hunting over our decoys and refused to leave. Never have I encountered , nor heard of , such an irresponsible action in my entire life and I have been hunting since I was a small boy, some 78 years ago. I understand some words were exchanged before I arrived at the scene ( I was in the smaller boat). We picked up our decoys and went in for the day, being too upset to hunt. I cannot understand how whoever was in charge that day, can look in the mirror when they shave in the mornings and call themselves a "Sportsman:


Now that I have "Vented my Spleen," I consider this matter closed.


This is my return letter,




Dear Mr. Williams,

I recieved your letter dated January 15th about an incedent that happened on. My party had been hunting that hole for 3 prior mornings and killing limits. I feel your party heard all the shooting and went in that afternoon and placed decoys out to "save a hole". We arrived at 515 am and noticed the decoys, I did not have a bag or I would have picked them up and placed them to the side. I have never had a party leave decoys out on public land and you are very lucky they were still there the next morning. I instructed my guys to hunt over the dekes until the owners arrived which yall did at 8 20 am. When the gentleman asked me in the larger boat "What the hell are you doing" I unloaded on him. I guide people and make a living doing so. For your party to come in at 8:20 and botch my hunt up is totally unacceptable. For future reference don't leave you decoys out on public land thinking this will gaurantee you a hole because it will not.

Well, that was my granddaddy Bo! You wont be sending anything down the ramp when I get through with you! How dare you talk to an old man like that that morning. You should be ashamed of yourself!!! It was cold and he being 80 years old has a hard time getting out so early.

Thats alright though, I'll be at the NAPA store bright and early monday morning waiting on you st show up. We will see who want to screw with somebodys decoys and boat trailer then!!!!!!!!!!!




PS......I got a whole pallet of bricks, brand new from when maw maw built the new chicken coup. Them big ole plate glass windows sho do make a racket but thats alright.

To answer Torch's question about what I would do, I would say it depends. Someone showing up 2 hours after legal is a bit silly to expect the hole to not be occupied. And if there wasn't room for another boat (or what sounds like 2 boats) then that person is SOL. But I wasn't there to know how words were exchanged and how it went down.
