Save your money and book a hunt with Antonio "Duckman" Jones.

Don't have any dealings with Duxmen personally but I see the owner pretty frequently in town and talk to a lot of his clients at a small diner they frequent....shoot me a pm with any specific questions so I don't stir the wasp nest around here...pretty familiar with the area they hunt

I tried to book a hunt with Antonio about 8 years ago but he couldn't tell me for sure if he had permission to hunt anywhere.

No joke. He had just come out with a hunting video and had a business card advertising a guide service. I called him and tried to pen him down on where he hunted and he never could give me a straight forward answer. He finally told me, "You do realize that I'm a 17 year old black kid, don't you?

" I told him yes Antonio, we have met before in Jackson, MS at the MS State and Regional calling contest. You were with Jim Ronquest. That kind of put him at ease but he still could tell me if he had permission to hunt anywhere.

Antonio also came close to getting busted for guiding without a guide's license a couple years ago.
As for the original question, I know exactly where their camp is, but do not know what farms they lease and have never heard anybody talk about them. They are a very young operation, so the word may not be out yet. I don't know.

I've been hunting that area for about 10 years now but have never heard of them. Not to say they are not ligit, but if you are looking for a proven outfitter with proven hunting land shoot me a PM and I'll give you some names. Sorry for highjacking your post.
