I bought a pair of Irish Setters, from Cabelas Bargain Cave, and love them. Broke them in during deer season and they are great.

Follow what the reviews say though, order the extra width and a size larger than normal.

I got a pair of the redhead brand ones from basspro last night. They were light, water proof, and comfortable. Plus they had them in wide sizes which was a plus.

I wouldn't buy anything without "Goretex" if waterproof is a priority.
Danner are very good quality and waterproof.

I bought a pair of these a couple of years ago and I've been pleased with them.

I was very suprised by how good the Redhead zip up ones are. They are all I wear for deer season too unless it's below 30 degrees. After 5 seasons, they aren't waterproof anymore, but I've put some miles on these things, and they are still super comfortable. Probably will need to buy another pair after this season since the insoles are getting loose.

Good Luck with breaking them Rockies in....bought a new pair last season and returned them. After two weeks of wearing them, I thought I was gonna have to do surgery on my lower legs and ankles!! Good boot.....just TOUGH to break in!!

My new pair is the lace up and zip up LaCrosse!!
