My luck charm.

Wed 3-14 took my oldest for his first turkey hunt. Got on a bird about 7:40 and about 3 min later he was strutting 15 yards off our left shoulder. He isn't big enough to move the gun around good and the turkey got behind some stuff when he came through our shooting lane.
Haven't been able to hunt since then.
So yesterday 3-19 I hunted till lunch fooled with a couple different groups and couldn't close the deal.
About 5 Me and Coop go to hunt with a friend of mine. We get to the edge of the woods and I cut and a hen comes back at me. We set up, friend out front with me and coop in the back. Me and her talk real dirty to each other gobbler fires of behind her. She come on to us get's 25 yrds in front of us and tells me just how much she don't like me and puts on a good show for Coop. The gobbler is still hanging back. Then two birds fire off behind us about 200 yds and start closing the distance quick. Me and coop spin around the tree and friend tries to crawl up to where we were but they showed up to quick and I had to take the first one out at 20 yds.
I think Coop is my good luck charm he has been on two hunts with me and had birds within 20 yrds on both.
