lease price

What is the going price of the average lease around here. Mine has been turned over to some timber company by the land owner to take care of. They wanting 10 bucks a acre on cut over land planted back in pines. What ya'll think?

8-10 is about average for that type of land in the Morton area. If you don't pay it, they will find someone who will. It's unreal how much timber companies have gone up on their leases, especially for fresh cutover.
