for some reason, i felt that i had to have my ear as close to the loud speaker (pun pun) as i could possibly get...could've been all the yack-meister shots...

They also played 'the dock' in jackson around that time. Cost 5 bucks and had that whole pier swaying...

I remember that. You could walk to the bar, grab a beer and walk right back to the stage. I had a test at 6 in starkville and had someone waiting to pick me up so we could make it to cleveland in time..

I remember when I was at Ole Miss in 88, we had them play at a party at a guy's lake house...Most of us didn't know who they were. They had a bunch of "weirdos" following them around even then.
