Wife and I get to go to Vegas for a week next month that her work is paying for. Unfortunately, for her that is, she will have to spend 4 days in meetings for most of the day. So I'll have to entertain myself in Vegas...don't think that will be too awfully hard. However, I would like to enjoy the time out there with her also.
What are some of the sites that we need to see and do while we are out there? and I don't think she'll go to the bunny ranch with me so that one is out!

I recommend that you consider taking a plane trip out to the Grand Canyons. My wife and I did that for our honeymoon. There are charter companies that will pick you up at your hotel, take you to the regional airport in Las Vegas and fly you over the Hoover Dam to the Grand Canyon National Park. There a bus tour will take you to the scenic points on the rim of the Canyon. They will fly you back and have you at your hotel before dinner. It was also very affordable.
You should look into it, you'll be glad you did.
Oh, one thing to remember, if you are walking around Las Vegas, things are further away than they appear.

I was there a few weeks ago and saw the Peep Show it was great also saw Vegas the show it was really good also. If you go see the peep show get VIP tickets so you can sit on the front row at your own table it's worth it. Just walk around and see the sights while your there . The helicopter tour at nite is good also. Take the boat ride at the venetian at nite also. Go check out rehab at the hard rock on Sunday . Go check out old Vegas one nite too.

I am assumig you have a free place to stay, meals, and a free plane ride. Go ahead and take at least $1,000 of spending money even if you don't gamble. Nothing there is cheap. BJ tables minimum are usually $15 to play at the upper tier casinos on the strip. You can lose $200 before you get the beer you ordered. If you are alone go play video poker at the bar, and put at least $50 in and bet generously until the bartender starts giving you comp. Beers tip him well keep playing and they will usually take care of you.
