Best Method of Coon eradication

Got a coon that keeps breaking in my shop and messing the place up. It is in the city limits so I cant shoot him and I guess the seasons out anyway. Little sucker does most of his damage at night when no one is around. I am guessing a live trap but what do you bait them with or is there a better way.

City limits my booty......shoot him "one shot one kill" go in the house and keep your mouth shut...........
If you go the live trap route, put sardines in it or smear it with peanut butter.

The best coonbait in the world is marshmellows. Sardines will catch cats and all kinds of other stuff. Marshmellows are the way to go.

penut butter or sardines as previously stated. caught them out of the garden before on corn ears. if no other critters are coming in the shop then i'd use sardines.

Unless I have missed something, I would think that the best bait would be a nice ripe watermellon and a 10-pc bucket of Church's Chicken.....

Make em take a paternity test, they'll scatter...or make them get a job, same effect...they'll be in your neighbors yard in no time.

Since I didn't want to catch a neighbor's cat, I sliced up an apple and it worked great. Be sure to have a plan B in the event you catch a skunk.

Thanks for all replies.
Just to clarify it is the Marcel Ledbetter type of coon, not the non-swimmer type coon (sorry I did not make that clear). It is not a skunk, for sure a raccoon. It has been spotted in the rafters of the shop by some of our employees. I will update which bait worked the best. I'm thinking I will just bake him a casserole with sardines, marsh mellows, apples and Nilla Wafers topped with peanut butter that ought to cover it.
If all else fails I will just hire the Turtle Man to catch him.

I would go in a trap for that.

I've always used stale honey buns and thats all you're gonna catch is raccoons. But iffen in the case its a Uncle Tom type coons just put up a sign saying all trespassers will be put to work.
