This could be the break the rest of us mortals in the SEC have been waiting for --- a chink in the armor, so to speak (if I can be still allowed to use this phrase that has been recently deemed politically incorrect).

The shattering of this trophy is clearly symbolic. It represents a shift in the will of the football Gods. Alabama's hopes for another national title within the next decade or so, just shattered into a million pieces, like Bobby P's future skidding into a roadside ditch. This bad mojo will be very difficult to overcome for Alabama. They might even lose to lowly Ole Miss --and we know what that means --- at least a brick through Saban's window.

One by one, the mighty are starting to fall... Florida, Auburn, Arkansas, now Alabama?...... Who's next? LSU? Is it time for the dipschits of the SEC....the outcast wannabes.....the neverweres.....to rejoice and proclaim their long overdue time in the sunshine of success? Probably not.

Florida had their '08 Crystal Ball broken by a visiting recruit that eventuall signed with Georgia, can't remember the guy's name

For an update, the University is now considering taking the "pieces" from the broken Crystal Ball and auctioning these for a fundraiser. Pieces could be used as jewelry accents? Always a business opportunity somewhere for someone.
