buddy of mine just got back. he killed two (his limit) and was on his way home in a day and half. He said the birds weren't gobbling on the roost, but they also had some severe tornadoes on the ground a few miles from the town and the winds were high.
I hope you kill your limit. I'm going next year with the good Lord willing. I heard the place is unreal

I talked with Keith Sunday to see if they were OK from the tornadoes out there. Said they were up to 45 birds so far inspite of the conditions.

Report from Keith. 51 turkeys died so far this year. Hens began nesting in march and gobblers are becoming few and far between. They aren't roosting consistently either. It'll be tough work, but the birds are there somewhere.

Todo went with him. I made a baby while the sun was shining and had to take a year off.

Look at it this way Joel. If Estes kills a turkey, you know they must be thick. btw four roses single barrel, or small batch?
