I don't recall the brand, but we got a foam mattress. We like it much better than our standard one.
Just a thought. It is crazy what they cost.

Casabella's Furniture here in Corinth sells a brand called Jamison (hotel brand maybe). They have a memory foam mattress that I like every bit as much as the upper end ones that I have looked at. We have two queen sets that we're very satisfied with. I don't remember what we paid for them, but they were a fraction of the cost of the others. They were having a mattress sale over the weekend. May still be. Would probably be worth the drive to check them out.

I have a Cal. King Tempurpedic. I can't believe I ever slept on anything else. Probably best, or at least top 5, thing I have spent $3500+ on.

The sealy we picked out has whats call "opticool" memory foam...it frels cool to the touch when u lay on it an is supposedly spose to regulate the temp. While u sleep...salesman sounded like a. Rocket scientist talkin bout it but the sales pitch worked lol

I just bit the bullet and bought a Sleep Number M7.. never imagined I would pay that for a bed. Only had it 6 days but I have yet to wake up with back pain. I receive spinal injections (series of 3) every 10-12 months for buldging disks and bone spurs. So to say I have back problems is an understatement. So a mattress that I can control the firmness of is what I was looking for... my wife likes the less firm and I have the most firm. So it is a win win so far... plus the 20 year warranty.
Dead
PS, I could have bought a new 4 wheeler for what I paid on the Sleep Number.

That may be the one I looked at recently. It doesn't get hot like the Tempurpedic. It's supposed to be the bomb. I like the Sealy we have too much to switch though.....it's got memory foam, europillow top, and cashmere.

I won't get a pillow top ever again. My big but has a hole molded in that pillow and no matter where I go to sleep, I wake up in the bottom of that whole.

I'm right there with ya. If it makes you feel better, I've made a hole in mine, and I go about 150.

Look at Sleep Inovations. I've had one for 6 years and it's still like new. Made in good ol USA and a fraction of the cost of Tempurpedic and super supportive and comfortable. I absolutely love mine!!

go to the flemarket and get one of those 5 inch foam pads to put on top of mattress. They run about 50-80.00, depends on how much you can talk them down on. Had one on our bed and its been great for the last 2 years. Just flip or rotate it every 2 months or so. Comes with the cover also for it that it zips down into.

I waddled out a hole in mine in a week. I hate my pillow top and wish I could find on I can flip instead of rotate. I would also like one that has a sh*t shield. I hated sneezing and changing the color of my matress 3 times but...

it is what it is
