I had two coots show up last week!
Shorebirds are on the move as well.
I laugh but it makes me happy just to know feathers are moving southward.

Wingman I too saw those coots. I think they hitched a ride to isola in the bed of a 74 model ford f100..

As slow as those coots fly, they musta headed south in Mid-April.

Woohoo!!!! The summers first bootlip!!!!
I need to go check the little bayou behind Billy's property and see if the flock of coots in there is back yet.
