I don't like 5, 11, 12, an 13.
Bad placement for our birds I think.

What you mean by that? Trying to see what your saying. Push them farther west or might keep them up north

Think he is meaning it would be better if those areas equated to "cold and more than average precip" meaning those areas would be covered in snow and push birds down to us

I think that's what he's saying, and I'm thinking the same thing. Average to dry in precipitation means not much snow cover.

Looks great to me. I would definitely rather have everything north of us say colder than ever with more snowfall than ever, but as long at it gets cold up there it will be better than what we saw last year, snow or not...

Exactly what I was thinking.

Yeah, the above is a good forecast, if you are looking for a colder fall/winter (which i'm hoping for just to make deer hunting, and hunting in general more enjoyable.etc) than last year which I don't know if it can get any milder than last year. On the other hand that forecast is weak as far as shoveling the birds down the MS flyway due to the "cool" and "cool dry" areas north of us. I'd rather it be be opposite when it comes to waterfowl migration. Don't really care if it's 50 or 20 down hurrrr, as long as those northern states are getting hammered with snow, locking up hard as rock, pushing the majority of the migration down through the magnolia state and in line with the bead on my shotgun. -WM

OH, Ted always trying to get my hopes up the class room. Also if the lower 48s average is above 47 degrees this winter it will go down as the hottest year ever recorded in our countrys history. Mindblowing to say the least, simply the driving force behind our change in migration patterns.
