Gives me the chills

Sitting in my ground blind the other day and turned around and saw this guy slithering about 10 feet away. After I had ruined my drawers and was able to gather air back into my lungs, I shot him with my bow. Needless to say, I am now in the market for some snake boots and was interested to see what yall are wearing these days?

Rocky Zip-ups, they are comfortable but I like my old lace ups better. Mud gets in the zipper and its hell to pay

overpriced in my opinion for what you get. In a snake boot anyway- I had the pronghorns
I bought a pair of the red head bayou zips from bass pro last turkey season, so far so good although like any other snake boot out there, they leak when you walk through wet grass. They do take a few months to break in so wear some thick socks. No telling how many miles on my pair and they are holding up good. the zipper can be frustrating when muddy

I've got a pair of rocky slip on's. They are comfortable! I was getting ready to go to the woods yesterday evening and had one of those weird feelings that something bad was gonna happen so I walked back in the house and put on my snake boots. Yesterday was the first time this season I've worn them but I will be wearing them the rest of the season. Too comfortable not to wear an our woods are LOADED with copperheads, cottonmouths and rattlers. My buddy almost stepped on a copperhead walking in to his stand last week. Said if it had not moved its tail, his next step would have been onto its back.

If anyone kills a copperhead or rattler and doesn't want the skin let me know. Looking for some skins for my longbow limbs.

Lacrosse came out with e slip on this year that rivals the Muck Boot slip on. I cant recall the name but I have a pair and they are very comfortable and not as hot as i first thought they would be.

Killed two rattlesnakes Saturday. Skinned both out. Bigfoot could be walking in the woods next to me and I will not notice it if it is warm. Every step I take i am looking at the ground.

muck doesnt advertise the woody armours to be "snake proof" anymore for some reason or the other.. i went with the lacrosse alpha mudlite snake boots... 18 inch, no laces, no zipper, no velcro
