Wow, I knew there was chance this could happen but I did not think it would all happen this weekend.

Obviously I am glad to see Bama with a chance to still play for the National Championship. That pleasure is only surpassed by watching Chip Kelly and his high flying pansy ass offense get shown up in their own house.

Not that I'm a fan of either, but a UA-ND match for NC would be interesting based solely on the history of the two programs.

It is probably a longshot but still a possibility that two SEC teams make it. I don't think the voters would let that happen again.

Notre Dame is #1.......next three teams are from SEC. Does that mean if Notre Dame loses to Southern Cal.......SEC vs SEC in Champ game?

What Id love more than anything is let ND win and face Bama an Bama completely destroy them like a Pee Wee Football team. I mean just an embarrassing event for ND. Let the world know that out side of the SEC everyone looks tough until they face a SEC team.

I'm already hating everyone assuming Bama beats Georgia.

If Bama beats auburn then they play UGA in SEC championship game. The winner of that should be in the national title game(assuming UGA beats Georgia Tech). So one of those teams will drop. If Florida beats Florida State and ND loses then Florida could make it to the national title game. I don't see ND losing to USC if Barkley is out. Bama and UGA should be a good game key will be if Bama can get to Murray. I think it will be ND and Bama.

I already think this point has been proven. I don't have the stats in front of me, but the SEC has embarrassed several "best team ever in NCAA football"...Oregon LSU a few years ago comes to mind. The experts always go back to the SEC playing their own style of ball that won't stand up to flashy high flying offenses that you see around the country and typically the SEC shows up and grinds these teams into submission on OUR terms.

Moving on to another topic I have been thinking about. Is the SEC too good? Can this many strong teams successfully compete on the national stage and continue beating each other up all season? I feel that I have probably already seen 3 national championship level games this year in the SEC. Just because the rest of the country can't hack it, does that justify a superior SEC being left out of the top of the BCS bowls over a technicality?

I'll also add that I am not college football expert I think I know just enough to be dangerous on my good days.

SEC is definetly it's own worst enemy. You can lose any day if you do not play your best and no team can play their best every game. For example I don't think anyone will argue that Bama is better than State but if Bama comes out and has a bad day and State plays to the best of their abilities they could beat Bama. That goes for most any week. You don't always have to play your best but you at least have to play decent.

Last night the way Oregon looked, if they were in the SEC west I bet they would be at least a 3 and very possibly a 4 loss team.
