I just wanted to get some opinions on short reed goose calls for a beginner. i have called geese before, never with a short reed though... i was looking on line and Sean Mann has one for sale "express shorty" with a instructional DVD also... is the call worth having? or any other suggestions? thanks

I can't give you much input on which one to get, but Cabela's has a sale on goose calls right now.

I have this CD set: http://www.moltgear.com/badgrammarcd.html

After listening to it, I can sorta "honk." I reckon I should look for this "Grounds" version!

I think the Scott Dude used to blow for Grounds, so that might explain it all.
