I read that Rodger Goodell released a statement to the press saying that upon arrival into the NFL, Clowney would be fined $50k for the hit in the South Carolina vs. Michigan game!

Lets not crown him as the next Lawrence Taylor just yet. He only had three tackles and zero sacks for the game. Michigan blew the blocking assignment and left him untouched on one of his three tackles which resulted in the great hit. When Michigan actually got a hat on him he only managed two tackles.
