Pursuant to an upcoming GetDucks.com project, ran across a great deal on some Kansas turkey hunting wanted to share with interested hunters. For those that missed the opportunity to do our Oklahoma hunt because it sold out in September, or for those that want to swing through another state and pick up a couple more gobblers on the cheap, here's your chance. 3-day Kansas turkey hunt (2 gobblers), semi-guided includes lodging and meals. Book directly with the outfitter - Regular $900 but tell Adam you heard about it from me, Ramsey Russell, and get for $750 ($700 for lodging-only and guests cook themselves). Location: Sylvia (meals plus lodging in B&B) and McPherson (lodging cabin only).
Contact Adam Gilkey at 620-804-1720. Link to their website -

It's in an area that has easterns, rios, hybrids. Plenty of action. Ducaholic Johnny Mc and I are taking our boys there in April.

I know everybody is in duck and deer mode....but that will soon change. This is a smoking deal, and that part of the country in the spring for turkey should be on everybody's radar................

Woodland Guides outside of Topeka has some amazing grounds and I have personally hunted there going on 5 yrs and have had 100% success on every hunt for 2 birds. Meals, lodging, and transportation to and from is $600 for 2 birds. They have a facebook page and a website. Non resident license and bothe the tags will run you about $124 out the door. He also has some Rio properties on the sound end of his land. Over 6,200 acres to chase them.

I would just assume hunt public in KS. And not hard to get permission from landowners.

Me and buddy are trying to team up for a slam. For budgetary and simplicity, we're looking for somewhere where there is some Rio/Merriam overlap (we've got the eastern and Osceola cleared). Any places available that fit that?
