Pretty sure that there is a bird that will "store" his food like that. but I dont know what type.

Kinda figured it was some type of bird, but I've never noticed this before.

Yeap Shrike / butcher bird looks alot like a mockingbird...they are some bad booty hunters...used to sit and watch them out my window at work when i was living down in the Tampa area....they are hell on lizards

They like to use barbed wire fences also. They will line a fence up with insects.
