The wife has to work late Valentine's day, so I'm going to pickup something and surprise her when she gets off. Any suggestions?

Biaggis is good. Rossini is great- especially the cheesecake with home made caramel.

Biaggi's is good. Amerigo's on Old Canton is good.
There is a place called Fratesi's on Lake Harbor. I typed a whole rant, but back spaced. I'll summarize that I have been twice and neither was a good experience. I would stay away from the caesar salad for sure. The dressing was so strong that it was every bit what I imagine licking the belly of a catfish would be like.....

Rossini, Biaggis, both good.
I used to eat at Fratesis from time to time and always had great food. But haven;t been in a year or so. Trying to stay away from the processed foods. Italian is terrible for how I eat. But I do love it!

+1 on Amerigos
I forgot about Fratesis. Haven't been in a while, but was great the last time I was there.

1. Cook it yourself for a surprise
2. I agree about Amerigo's. This tends to be more "fancier" of the choices listed.
3. I like Fratesi's, service can be hit or miss at times but the sauces are simple red/white sauces.

I have eaten at Fratesi's a few times. They have a baked eggplant special that is not on the menu but the staff knows what you're talking about. It is fantastic.

None of those other places listed are any good. So if you're planning on having a little action after dinner you should pick up Amerigo.
Don't forget the tiramisu.

Fratesis is good and I can't remember the name but its by bonefish but I remember it being good maybe it's called pies? Whatever the name they give you a ton of food.
