Asking for a Solid Favor for Griff

First off.. Griff is doing great. It is going on three years now that he has been taking chemo. In June he should be done with chemo as long as the cancer doesn't come back. He was diagnosed when he was 4. He is now 7 and is a perfect picture of health. Thank God for his mercy and all of you for your prayers.

Now for the favor or at least advice. Griff has been offered a guided turkey hunt through the Seth Harris Childhood Cancer Foundation. I found out today that MS Outdoors will be filming the hunt. We're all excited about this. Maybe more so me than him. The favor is... I was wondering if anyone out there had a youth model turkey gun that Griff could borrow. I know that may sound a little odd to ask, but we really don't have the extra money lying around to buy him a gun just for this hunt right now.

If not, could you guys let me know what your kids have used and were comfortable with at that age? 20 ga, 410, make, model. Again he is 7. He has shot a 22 rifle plenty of times but hasn't shot a shotgun.

Thanks

Bud I don't know you from Adam, but I would be willing to chip in some cash to buy that young man a gun that's proper.

Surely the good folks of MS Ducks would join in. Just tell us where to send it.

I think we could come together and get that young man a Remington youth model 870 20 gauge.

Not sure how far you are from Southaven, but we have a Mossberg 510 mini in 410 you can use. It is a VERY small youth model pump. Not sure how big your son is but it fits my 6yo just right. Let me know.

I am going to pontotoc this weekend then over to tupelo sometime.
I can take this and meet gunner somewhere if they'd like. I usually go back and fourth very other weekend there to the farm.
Or I'd be glad also to chip in money for him a gun.
