I've learned it's hard to tell what your filming without a viewfinder. Also missed some great shots because I wasn't actually filming, but hey did get some great footage of the inside of my pocket....

Also, anyone recommend a video editing software that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I used Microsoft Movie Maker on this, maybe just need more practice.

I use iMovie on the Mac. It is OK. I just bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 and Premiere Elements 11 together for $99. Photoshop elements is for photo editing and Premiere Elements is for video editing. Heard they are good but have not used enough yet.

I've seen an accessory called "BacPac" which is an LCD screen that attaches to the back of the Go Pro. It also comes with a waterproof case. Ones I've seen have retailed for $100 but I'm sure they could be gotten for much less on Ebay.

I'll probably get one before I head to Honduras. Just kinda tinkering now, got my suction cup in today for putting on widows etc. Made a pole mount on a 20' piece of conduit for when those breams start bedding. Tried to hook to the dogs collar but too unstable to watch, still working on that.

I want to make one that fits on top of the dogs head. But my dog cant stand for something to be ontop of his head.

West End is a really cool spot. Good thing you're going to Roatan. The mainland is dangerous and is the murder capital of the world. We went to the Island on a cruise. Rented a car and drove around. Had a good meal in West End!

They are awesome little cameras. A buddy made this video of a hog hunt recently. (It has music and is graphic for those of you at work)
