Find someone with dogs, hunting with dogs is much more effective than trapping. Also if you hunt them with dogs a lot they will get tired of the pressure and possibly move else where.

A dog permit was issued to a buddy of mine last week For the purpose of hog hunting. Admittedly, I had nothing to do with acquiring the permit, I hope he was not lying about it.

Do you still have the place near Philipp? And if so we have some traps out just north of it and have a few more that we can put out.

Wingman - So, we as law abiding hunters are supposed to be aware of not-so-public (to me anyway) Public Notices that are not reduced to/enacted through a state statute? Where are these Public Notices noticed? And what else is out there? Thanks.

The Outdoor Digest has most all pertinent info in it. Mdwfp.com has public notices. Running dogs during turkey season has been regulated for a while.
