That was tough to watch for sure. Putting the bat on the ball against good pitching but couldn't find the gaps. We usually catch a break or two but seemed like we couldn't get anything to go our way all night.

We did hit well, but Henderson as got to execute the sac. better when the game is on the line. Just give yourself up, just give yourself up!! His first attempt looked like a drag bunt attempt, the second he squared more, just couldnt execute!! Then hit into the double play because he didnt remember the fundamentals of the game. Square up. bunt it on the ground away from the pitcher, walk to the dug out with a sac!! Well, hopefully tonight we can find some spots to hit the ball!! Execute, and dont make any mental errors!!

Put this one behind you. UCLA threw their best post season pitcher last night. He has a 0.87 ERA in the post-season. What UCLA did to LSU was nearly identical to what they did to State (great pitching, clutch defense, score on small ball and errors).

Renfroe and Rea are due.

State is gonna come back and win a close one tonight and set up one game for the championship.

Hopefully State will win tonight! Either way, I'm gonna be in Starkville tomorrow night for my son's freshman orientation. So we'll either see them play or welcome them home.

Yep, they can't hit but end up doing just enough and taking advantage of freebies to win game in, game out.
